    • Families are selected based on nominations from the community. If you know a family in need, you can nominate them for a Thanksgiving Heroes meal kit. Most nominations come from schools and other nonprofits.
  2. Volunteer Opportunities:

    • We offer meal delivery volunteer opportunities. Sign up to receive our newsletter to be informed when registration is open.
  3. Meal Box Contents:

    • Our meal boxes are carefully curated to include all the essential ingredients for a hearty Thanksgiving meal. This typically includes a turkey or main dish, sides, and dessert.
  4. Donating Food:

    • While we appreciate the generosity, we only accept monetary donations to ensure efficient coordination and distribution. You can contribute through our donation page.
  5. Service Area:

    • Currently, we serve families along the Wasatch Front. 
  6. Nomination Process:

    • Nominations can be submitted through our website under the nominate link. Nominations open in September.
  7. 501(c)(3) Status:

    • Yes, Thanksgiving Heroes is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
  8. Confirmation of Nomination:

    • While we cannot guarantee individual notifications, if selected, the family will receive a confirmation from our team.
